New Annuity Training Requirement

ANNUITY TRAINING REGULATION
Effective April 1, 2011 all producers selling annuities must complete a one-time four hour annuity training course no later than October 1, 2011.
The enforcement of this training provision is with insurance companies and CO Dept of Insurance encourages producers to contact the companies for which they sell annuity policies for compliance information.

Effective July 1, 2009, all producer licensing fees will increase $19.00 for a two year period.
Initial Licenses: Current $52 (per line) New $71 (per line)
Renewal Licenses: Current $13 (per line) New $32 (per line)
The producer license examination fee remains $73
